America’s Largest Christian Banking Institution Announces Rebrand to Reflect Expanded Services

AdelFi, a Christian credit union serving individuals, families, churches and ministries across the United States, announces its rebrand this week to “AdelFi Christian Banking” following its merger with Christian Community Credit Union (CCCU) on December 1, 2025. The institution brings together more than 130 years of combined experience, forming the largest Christian banking institution in the United States.

AdelFi is rooted in the Greek word adelphos (or adelphoi), used throughout the New Testament to describe brothers and sisters united in Christ (Mark 3:35; Hebrews 2:17). “Adel” reflects the Hebrew meaning, “God is eternal” and “noble,” and the suffix “Fi” reflects both finance and a digital-first approach by using modern technology to help believers manage their resources wisely, grow generously and make an eternal impact.
