Minimum opening deposits and balance requirements vary depending on the account type.
You earn a higher rate than a traditional savings account and regular Money Market account. Plus, it’s different from a Certificate of Deposit because you have the freedom to deposit or withdraw money without any penalties imposed.

Yes, each account is covered $250,000 per deposit account (NOT per member) by American Share Insurance (ASI). Compared to FDIC, ASI insures each and every account of an individual member up to $250,000, with no limit to the number of accounts that can be insured. If you have 10 separate accounts with AdelFi, up to $2,500,000 of your deposits are covered! This equates to exceptional insurance compared to the big banks.

1. Ministry Harvest Savings: Tiered -based savings account. 5.00% APY will be paid on balances up to $5,000. Balances between $5,000.01-$10,000 will earn the lower dividend rate of 2.25% APY. Balances $10,000.01+ will earn the dividend rate of 0.10% APY.. Fees may reduce earnings. $100 minimum to open. There is a $5.00 monthly service fee if the balance falls below $100.00. One Ministry Harvest Savings account per member.
2. Ministry Premium Money Market Account: $10,000 minimum. Variable tiered rate account with easy access and maximum liquidity.
There is a $15 monthly fee on Premium Money Market Account when the daily balance falls below $10,000 at any time during the month.
