Our hearts are heavy for those affected by the devastating floods in central Texas, including the tragic loss of young lives at Camp Mystic. We are mourning alongside every grieving family and lifting up prayers for the communities left in crisis.
As followers of Christ, we’re called to show love in action. To support relief efforts, AdelFi has made a donation to Samaritan’s Purse, who are on the ground in Kerr County providing critical help to those in need. 100% of your tax-deductible donations will go directly towards relief efforts.

AdelFi Responds to Southern California Wildfires
As Southern California faces the devastation caused by wildfires, AdelFi has made a financial donation to those affected by partnering with Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena and the American Baptist Churches of Los Angeles, Southwest, and Hawaii (ABCOFLASH).
Each of these ministries are providing shelter and resources to those in the local community who’ve been hardest hit. As an example, Lake Avenue Church has opened up their campus to provide shelter for those displaced and is assisting Samaritan’s Purse with local relief efforts.

AdelFi Supports The River’s Edge Ranch to Help Restore Lives through Faith & Recovery
At The River’s Edge Ranch, hope is restored for men who seek to recover from substance abuse. Using a proven, multi-phase approach that effectively integrates manual labor, animal-assisted therapy, service to others, faith, and mentoring support, the ranch has restored and transformed the lives of many who have successfully completed the program. AdelFi is glad to support The River’s Edge Ranch in its mission to give hope to men and their families through the healing powers of Christ.
AdelFi Responds to Global Crises with Support for Samaritan’s Purse and H.O.M.E
As the world contends with natural disasters like Hurricane Helene and continued wars in the Middle East, AdelFi is providing prayers and support to those affected by partnering with Samaritan’s Purse and H.O.M.E. (Health Outreach to the Middle East).
Samaritan’s Purse is delivering supplies to areas devastated by Hurricane Helene, while H.O.M.E. has opened a medical center in Lebanon to serve war-torn regions. AdelFi has donated $15,000 towards these emergency aid operations with funds coming from the “Cards that Give to Missions” program.

AdelFi Supports Camp Agape to Help Children Find Joy, Healing, and Belonging
AdelFi proudly supports Camp Agape, a free 4-day camp experience where children of incarcerated parents can build healthy relationships, experience joy, and find healing through fun, faith-centered activities. We’re grateful to partner with an organization making a lasting impact in the lives of children and families.
AdelFi Donates to ABHMS to Help Maui Families Rebuild their Lives
The recent tragic events in Maui have saddened and moved us all. The images of Hawaii residents in tears as they have lost their homes, crops, and possibly loved ones, compels us as a community of Christ followers to respond.
As an institution, we have donated $5,000 to our partners at American Baptist Home Missions Societies (ABHMS) to help them provide the most practical resources needed. ABHMS will work with various organizations and the people of Hawaii after FEMA has left to ensure the people, culture, and livelihoods are restored. As a valued partner of AdelFi for many years, we stand with ABHMS as we minister to the people of Maui.

Health Outreach to the Middle East (H.O.M.E.)
United in the common cause of meeting needs in Jesus’ Name through compassion, AdelFi has partnered with Health Outreach to the Middle East (H.O.M.E.). Donations to H.O.M.E. have a profound and tangible impact on the lives of individuals and families in the Holy Land.
Contributions directly strengthen H.O.M.E.’s ability to address pressing health emergencies, sustain and enhance medical infrastructure, procure essential medical supplies, and facilitate the education and deployment of empathetic, proficient healthcare practitioners. Essentially, each donation represents an expression of love that translates into saved lives, alleviated suffering, and fortified communities.
Bring Healing & Hope to the Holy Land with Samaritan’s Purse
AdelFi is proud to unite with Samaritan’s Purse in a coalition to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people impacted by the Hamas-Israel war.
In collaboration with local churches and ministry partners, they are delivering urgently required aid such as food, water, hygiene kits, shelter, medical equipment, ambulances, and other assistance to communities profoundly affected by the conflict in Israel, Gaza, and surrounding areas.

House of Refuge Sunnyslope (HRS) in Arizona, equips individuals to break free from homelessness. HRS CEO Julie Supplee shares her appreciation on how AdelFi’s partnership allowed them to expand their services and how AdelFi became part of their story. Besides transitional housing, HRS residents experience a Christ-focused program that includes, food, training and mentoring.

AdelFi Donates $10,000 to Assist in Release of MAF Pilot Ryan Koher
AdelFi has donated $10,000 to aid in the release of MAF pilot Ryan Koher who has been in a Mozambican high-security prison since November 4, 2022. Koher was on a mission to fly supplies from southern Mozambique to an orphanage in the northern part of the country where there has been insurgent activity. Unfortunately, what should have been a routine flight for the greater good, turned into false allegations. Police believed that the supplies were to support terrorists in the region, a belief that simply doesn’t align with the facts.
The donation from AdelFi will help cover legal and other costs for Ryan Koher in his wrongful detainment in Mozambique.

AdelFi Donates to Water for Good/Lifewater
Water for Good is a Christ-centered organization that believes every child and family deserves access to safe water and seeks to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world’s most marginalized communities. They construct long-lasting, safe water solutions that utilize local ingenuity and supplies that communities can access. AdelFi is glad to support their work in providing villages access to safe water and improved sanitation and hygiene across the world.
AdelFi Donates $5,000 For Emergency Relief in Turkey and Syria
AdelFi donated $5,000 to International Ministries (IM) emergency relief efforts for survivors of the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. A 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, 2023, which was followed hours later by a second powerful jolt. Many buildings collapsed including hospitals, schools, and apartment blocks. Thousands of lives were lost, and those who survived were left without homes and basic necessities.
The funds for the donation come from AdelFi’s “Cards that Give to Missions” program, in which a portion of the Credit Union’s interchange income (fees merchants pay to card issuers) is donated when cardholders use their CCCU-issued credit cards for purchases. To date, AdelFi has given over $6 million to Christian causes.
AdelFi Donates $5,000 For Hurricane Ian Relief
AdelFi donated $5,000 to American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) disaster relief effort in response to the devastation left by Hurricane Ian in Florida and other southern states. The unimaginable levels of destruction have led to the loss of lives, hundreds of homes destroyed, and the displacement of thousands of residents.
The funds for the donation come from AdelFi’s “Cards that Give to Missions” program, in which a portion of the Credit Union’s interchange income (fees merchants pay to card issuers) is donated when cardholders use their CCCU-issued credit cards for purchases. To date, AdelFi has given over $6.5 million to Christian causes.
Emergency Relief Funds for Ukrainian Refugees
We’re grateful to our members for entrusting their finances to AdelFi. Through their use of their missions-giving credit card, AdelFi was able to donate $5,000 for humanitarian aid to Ukraine in partnership with American Baptist Churches USA’s (ABCUSA) International Ministries. The amount helped provide critical life necessities to Ukrainian refugees including food, shelter, medicine, and hygiene items.
AdelFi Donated $4,300 to Olive Crest for Survivors of Human Trafficking

AdelFi donated $10,000 to Olive Crest – USA to help protect vulnerable children. Olive Crest transforms the lives of at-risk children through the healing power of family.
AdelFi’s “Scholarship for Success” Program
From 1999 to 2021, the “Scholarships for Success” program awarded students from across the United States over $1.1 million dollars!
Students were selected for the multi-year scholarship based on their essay, academic excellence, extra-curricular activities, and references. Although the Scholarship program was discontinued in 2022, AdelFi does offer Student Choice—a private student loan solution with fixed and variable rate solutions to help fill educational funding gaps.
